Scripture in the Bible tells us that we all make a choice about where we will spend eternity. Either with God in Heaven or eternal separation from God in Hell. There is only one way to spend eternity in Heaven. Without salvation through Jesus Christ -we would spend eternity separated from God.
Many Ask – ” Where will I go when I die?”
In John 3:16-17 Jesus stated that “For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
Jesus is our one and only way to eternity in Heaven with God. In John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” No one comes to the Father except through me.
The process of Salvation is accepting the gift of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ because Romans 3:23 tells us “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Everyone is a sinner and is separated from God. So, the first thing is to admit that we all are a sinner in need of God’s amazing grace. God loved us all so much that He gave His Son to die for our sins. Romans 5:8 says “But God demonstrates his own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Death means separation forever from God. Eternal life comes by trusting Jesus Christ. Romans 6:23 says “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” In order to begin your new life in Christ (be saved), you must believe that Jesus died for your sins and declare that you accept Him as Savior. Romans 10:9-10 says “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. This is God’s promise to you- if you accept Jesus, He will accept you. Romans 10:13 says “For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” So, If you believe Jesus is Lord, please pray the following prayer.
Dear God, I have sinned and want to ask for forgiveness for my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and rose again. I accept your offer of eternal life. I want Jesus Christ to come into my life and into my heart. I will follow Jesus as my Savior and try to obey Him in all that I do. Thank you for my new life. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
